Geography Bee Results

Forsyth Home Educators had another successful National Geography Bee. John Bortins won for the second year in a row, with Luke Landon coming in second. The boys were equally skilled, as Luke won the Preliminary Round and John won the Championship Round. A lot of the contest results have to do with the way the questions fall. Some are much easier than others and each student has their own field of expertise. Lee Kimmel won third place. Lydia Landon, Matthew Landon, and Christine Pippins also competed. We'd like to thank Jackson Motors for donating $20 for our 1st place winner. Classical Conversations paid the entry fee and donated $10 Office Depot gift certificates to the 2nd and 3rd place winners. We're hoping to have even larger prizes next year, so start sharpening your geography skills.
