Dear FHE Parents,
Some of you have received a survey concerning homeschooling. Caratha Scott, a graduate student of Carolina Central University, has prepared this survey. I have personally met with Caratha Scott. She is a fine Christian. My fellow Christian employees know her. Her prior contact with NCHE and with FHE seems to express her intent very well. She is working on her Master's degree in Human Sciences and her thesis is titled, "An Analysis of Home Schooling in Forsyth County". She is surveying the homeschooling community in Forsyth County where she lives.

The survey has been mailed from my home directly to you. She will not know who you are unless you yourself request a completed analysis of the survey. I have requested a copy of the survey, which will be published in a future FHE Journal.

In other words, you remain totally anonymous. A forwarding address is not necessary when mailing the self addressed stamped envelope to Mrs. Scott. We do not, never have and never will release or give out individual member names or list of member names in our directory, unless you are in a leadership capacity with FHE.

Your participation in filling in the survey is purely voluntary. You do not have to fill in all the questions asked. You can just throw it away if you wish. However, your participation will be greatly appreciated. The survey should be mailed no later than Wednesday, March 24. If you have any questions you may contact her at 922-4412 or me.
