Coordinating the Moms’ nights has been a true joy and privilege this year. What a variety of gatherings we have had. And what a wonderful bunch of women! Thanks to the numerous hostesses over the year and to all of you moms for arranging your home and family demands in order to attend (and even bring a snack). The sharing has been a precious bonding between us fellow home school pioneers, huh?! We really need each other.

Speaking of needs. Our April Mom’s Night at Jo Landon’s was a great time of meeting the need for encouragement. Jo shared some of her ideas and toured us around her one room schoolhouse garage and book binding business. There’s just nothing like getting our hands on curriculum and resources and then going home with some fresh insights. THANK YOU, Jo Landon! One more Moms’ Night Out is set for May 20 at Suzanne Patton’s home off Reynolda Rd. Look for the article in this issue on page 10.

By the way – due to overload in our home – we are looking for a dear soul to coordinate the Mom’s Night Out for next year. Will you call me if you feel impressed of the Lord to do this?
