PACER (Piedmont Association for Creation Education and Research) has been working in the Piedmont region of North Carolina since 1991 to promote the acceptance of the creation model of origins. They have held monthly meetings and made many presentations to diverse audiences in schools, churches, civic organizations, etc. They are now planning a major series of educational programs in cooperation with "Answers in Genesis," the ministry founded by Ken Ham. Ken is one of the most in-demand Christian speakers in North America (he received over 600 invitations to speak in 1996). On Friday, October 10, Ken will be in Greensboro for a Christian Leaders' meeting (Airport Marriott) to kick off the promotion of these educational programs. The actual programs will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, January 26-28, 1998. There will be teen and adult seminars, student assemblies, and workshops.
