The Greatest Expert of All

Life can seem a shambles with too much disarray,
Sweetness, comfort, order have gone so far away.
One wonders if the tangles will ever straighten out.
We hope the corrupting garbage will take another route.

The Master of the Universe is the greatest Expert known,
He has every answer and knows how we are prone
To wind up in the center of a huge and ghastly mess,
And so He bids us come to Him, we find He offers rest.

He takes us in and cleanses us from every guilty stain.
He gives our hearts a song to sing, a sweet and glad refrain.
He straightens out the tangled mess, gives order to our lives.
He puts His love within our hearts, our spirits He revives.

Our lives are changed to fit His plans in every small detail.
He gives us strength to live His life, and thus we will not fail.
His expertise is much beyond the intelligence of men,
For only His all-seeing love will delivers us from sin.

Each and every heart who's lived upon this tired earth
Needs the cleansing power of Him who bore their sinful curse.
Our Creator and Redeemer proved love can conquer all,
From the very start of man's sad, heart-breaking fall.

His expertise is far beyond the thoughts of created beings,
It reaches all the universe, a theme each angel sings.
The greatest theme we can learn, in heavenly schools above,
Will be the wonder of God's character--His great, unchangeless love.

Prayer

When you feel least like praying,
That's the time to pray.
Perhaps from God you're straying
And seeking your own way.

Pray before you read His word,
It's He who provides the light.
He opens your eyes heavenward
And gives you new insight.

Prayer is an attitude to keep
With you each passing hour.
Ask for all you need from Him,
For He can give you power.

God's your friend thru daily prayer,
He by your side must stand.
And as you grow in faith, you'll share
His divine and loving plan.

Love Will Find A Way

Don't be afraid to talk things out.
It doesn't pay to yell or shout,
But if we are to communicate
We must let go of spiteful hate.

No matter who is right or wrong,
To talk, in love, will make us strong.
If we let our feelings grate,
We never can set things straight.

Sometimes our habits make it hard
The other fellow to regard.
But if we both love God it's sure
We'll have a sympathetic ear.

We need to learn to love reproof,
With humble hearts to listen close.
And though our motives can't be read
We need to heed all God has said.

Fear must not have its way,
Nor biases our mind to sway.
Unintentionally we may be cruel,
But compassion must always rule.

I will be the first to say,
Self sometimes leads me astray.
Yet, my life belongs to Him,
And He will free me from all sin.

And if you know my Saviour too,
I want to be more close to you.
His children must break barriers down,
Then He can come to take them home.

So please, don't fear what I say.
Remember, love will find a way.
With humble hearts we'll learn to know
The way God intends for us to go.
