Colossians
Chapter
3
1~~
If, therefore,
you
have been raised in THE Christ {positional truth}
-
and you have -
keep
on desiring to possess,
and
endeavoring to obtain,
the
above things {knowledge of God and heaven},
where
THE Christ is sitting on the right hand side of THE God.
2~~
Keep thinking objectively about the above things . . .
NOT
the things upon the earth.
3~~
For you have died {positionally}
and
your life has been hidden together with the Christ
by
means of The God.
4~~
On the occasion when the Christ - our life -
becomes
manifest {second advent of Christ} . . .
at
that time also,
you
shall become manifest together with Him in glory.
5~~
Therefore, begin to render impotent {through doctrine}
the
members of the old sin nature,
the
things upon the earth, specifically:
fornication,
unnatural
sexual vices,
degenerate
passion,
evil
lusts,
phallic
search for happiness . . .
which
category of things keeps on being idolatry.
6~~
Because of which things, the wrath of God comes.
7~~
In the sphere of which things {reversionism},
you
also walked once upon a time . . .
when
you were living in them.
8~~
But now you also begin to lay aside all these
{a specific list of reversionistic traits}:
outbursts
of temper,
volatile
anger,
emotional
tantrums,
depravity
in the field of hurting someone
at the expense of someone else {sleep with Y to get back at X},
depravity,
slander,
language
designed to hurt from the source of your mouth.
9~~
Stop lying to one another of the same kind,
having
disarmed the old man {old sin nature}
together
with his modus operandi {rebounding back into fellowship}.
10~~
And having put on the new . . .
being
renewed
because
of epignosis doctrine
according
to the image of THE ONE {Jesus}
having
created him {the now recovered believer}.
11~~
Where there is neither
Greek
nor Jew,
circumcision
nor uncircumcision,
Barbarian
nor Scythian,
bond
nor free . . .
but
Christ is all - and in all.
{Note:
The only true equality comes at the time of salvation.}
{Doctrine
of Election IV}
12~~Put
on, therefore,
as
the elect of God,
holy
and beloved . . . a heart/'right lobe' of:
compassion,
kindness,
humbleness
of mind,
meekness,
{and}
long-suffering.
13~~
Be tolerant of one another
and
forgiving of one another.
If
any man has a complaint against anyone else,
just
as Christ forgave you, so also do you!
14~~
And beyond all these things put on virtue love . . .
which
is the bond of maturity.
15~~
And the blessings and prosperity from the Christ
may
it be caused to preside in your 'right lobes'/hearts
into
which {super grace blessings}
you
also have been elected into one body.
Therefore
keep on becoming thankful ones!
16~~
And the doctrine, from the source of THE Christ,
let
it keep on dwelling in you abundantly -
to
the point of wealth in all wisdom.
Teaching
and warning self and others {pastor's responsibility}
in
psalms and hymns and songs of praise
by
means of spiritual things
by
grace in your 'right lobes'/hearts . . .
keep
singing to the Lord {congregations' responsibility}.
17~~
And all, whatever things,
if
you do in the sphere of doctrine or deed,
all
things by the name/person of the Lord Jesus,
constantly
giving thanks to the God,
even
the Father, through Him {Jesus}.
{Note:
This is the PROTOCOL of prayer. All prayers are to be offered in the
name of Jesus and are addressed to God the Father}
{PRINCIPALS
OF AUTHORITY - Chapter 3:18 through Chapter 4:1}
18~~
The women . . .
keep
voluntarily yielding yourselves
in
love unto your own Noble Man {husband},
as
it is fitting in the Lord.
19~~
The Noble Men . . .
keep
{impersonally} loving the woman {relaxed mental attitude}
and
stop being bitter face to face with her.
20~~
The children . . .
keep
obeying the parents in all things
for
it is to your advantage.
21~~
Parents . . .
provoke
not your children lest they be discouraged.
22~~
Employees . . .
submit
to the authority
-
according to the standard of all things -
of
your masters . . .
not
in the sphere of eye slaveries as men pleasers,
but
by means of integrity in the 'right lobe'/heart . . .
respecting
the Lord.
{Note:
'Eye slaveries as men pleasers' is an idiom. Today we would say
"don't be a brown noser". Instead remember you represent
the Lord. Do your job the best you can - 'as unto the Lord'.}
23~~
Whatsoever YOU do . . .
keep
functioning from the soul,
as
to the Lord - and not to men.
24~~Knowing
that
from the source of the Lord
you
shall receive in return the {unexpectedly great} reward
from
the inheritance . . .
for
you are the servant to the Lord Christ.
25~~Therefore,
the one that does wrong
shall
receive back, for the thing which he has done wrong . . .
and
there is not partiality
{by the Lord - all are treated the same}.
