The Months

epb1937@scrtc.com

January, the month with lots of cold and snow,
Causes Granny's arthritis to act up, you know.

February, the month to express our love,
Is a time to share kindness from above.

March, the month of a fresh, spring-color of green,
Is a time to put away all envy and thoughts that are mean.

April, the month of new birth,
Is a time for thoughts of new-plowed earth.

May, the month to express love toward mother,
Is a time to extend our love also toward one another.

June, the month of the wedding vow,
Is the month school vacations begin - NOW.

July, the month of our Country's Indepencence and birth,
Is a time to think of our Country's worth.

August, the month of heat and drought,
Is when we stay inside instead of going about.

September, the month children go back to school,
Is a time to follow the teacher's rule.

October, the month of vivid color and fall,
Is a time the leaves drift to the ground free-for-all.

November, the month of thankful hearts,
Is the time to visit family members on family tree charts.

December, the month we celebrate our Savior's birth,
Is when we commemorate He came down to earth.

From each of the twelve months, we acquire a view
Of a natural distinction that we attach thereto.
