Tell Me

Tell Me

Tell me of the stars
That shine in the skies,
Tell me of the love I saw I in your eyes.
Tell me of the dreams
We used to share.
Tell of our thoughts
That were joyous to bear.
Tell me that now that you're gone,
You're still all around me
Holding me tight.
Guiding me safely
All through the night.
Until that time I receive the call,
The final curtain that falls on us all.
Then I will meet you
On that beautiful shore,
Where you will be
When they open the door.
And bring us together
To be apart never more,
Tell me that this is the way it will be,
The Heaven for us,
For you and for me.
Our love is so strong,
That though we're apart,
Together we live
Right here in my heart.
And here we will stay
Till the day I depart,
And make my way down
The tunnel of love,
To make a new day.
Tell me this is the way it will be,
When we come together
Just you and just me.
