Just a tiny ball of silver fluff
I brought to my house one day,
A funny little midget cat
And scrawny as a stray.
I wasn't going to take her,
Cause I knew she was awfully frail,
But my sister said "you'd like her, Kat",
"You should spring her from this jail".
Well, she almost didn't make it,
And I thought I had made a mistake,
But Mali and me fought the good fight.
I stayed up many nights for her sake.
We won our battles and something else
That my words are unable to form;
A bond unlike any I've ever known,
Something fine and sweet and warm.
In our lives we have sorrows and joys,
