Thomas Pilkington was born (according to an unproven source) in 1745 in Manchester, England. He married 1st, Isabella Steel, but we do not have a date or place of marriage. They had one daughter, Mary Jane, born 1 May 1777. Isabella died (date and place unknown) and Thomas Pilkington married Mary Workman 31 March 1785 in Baltimore, MD. Thomas and Mary had at least one child-Thomas , Jr, born 14 Sept 1795. Thomas, Jr. married Cyrene Dorset in Nov 1812. He died 8 Sept 1831 and is buried at Greenmont Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
