THE MORE HUMEROUS PART OF MY PHOTOS

Up home they have a sport when shippin time rolls around. Called Cow Hockey... At this one ranch in particular placed all around the corral, there are sticks. The object is to use the sticks to guide the cattle toward the loading shoot. Sometimes the pucks (cattle) aren't very cooperative and the game gets kinda wild. Couldn't tell ya when this sport originated at this place but has been in use for years.

Had this urge to write, Some times I get this and it causes me fright.
The words just flow may mean nothing at all, but it makes me feel as tho I have to answer it's call.
In the middle of the night it came in plain sight How much DUCK TAPE has been a savior in many a plight.
No one has ever sung its praises (sorry im going thru one of those phases,LOL)
So the following is just a little ditty We take this tape for granted what a pity.

ODE TO DUCK TAPE...( I know the spelling isn't correct, but bare with me)

It's not much to look at and not very pretty But it can be found in most every city.
Sitting on the shelf all shiny and gray, throughout its years has saved many a day.
What it was originally designed for..?? I just sigh, without this little marvel Id surely would die.

Being from the country always carry pliers and wire, to fix what ever problems transpire.
Every now and then these won't fix it, and ya just throw your arms up and say Nix it..
then ya turn around and what do ya see?? That little gray roll sayin "hey try me"!!
Patchin everything under the sun, Didn't realize this tape was such fun
I could go on and on bout this little wonder, But people would think my mental state has gone under. (they're comming to take me away he he ha ha)
Even in this day of cyber space, Duck tape has found its place
In the chat room when "peer guy" gets into a tizzy, and the revolvin door made ya dizzy(from being booted)
Friends would grab the it and just say ... Here let me help ya, I'll make sure you stay
More than a few times my butt's been taped in my seat, To save from Peer guy causing defeat
We have used it in many other ways thru typing our actions in the games we play
Makin unrulies sit still, to giving our loved ones a thrill (woohooooo)
I don't know why I had I got this goofy urge to sing it's praises, Like I said must be one of those phases
I couldn't help it the words just started to flow, and the next thing I knew this started to grow.
Guess the last time I had to use it, it made me see without DUCKTAPE how dull life would be.
I'll quit now fore they haul me away, in one of them long arm jackets for those who stray(from reality)
Hope this little poem gives ya a roar, I'll say bye bye and shut the door

See ya can use duct tape for anything!!
This is my good friend "Cap", I was up visiting in Canada last spring, He had a huge pile of branches to burn from an ice storm( I mean huge) so we decided to have a cookout. The fire was so big couldnt get very close to it. Cap found a long branch, duct taped the roasting sticks to it and it worked.
Long distance hotdog roast.
