1 med acorn squash
3 T brown sugar
1 T butter
1 tsp lemon juice
dash of cinnamon or nutmeg
Cut squash into 1" rings. Discard seeds. Arrange in single layer in an 8" baking dish. Cover and bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. In a small saucepan, combine remaining ingredients and cook until bubbly. Spoon over squash and bake uncovered for about 10 more minutes, or until tender. Baste occasionally with sauce.
