WHERE ARE THEY NOW

Remember the good ol' days of the gangs mystery solving? Well I recieved an update about their current where abouts and thought I'd share it with you.

After the final Mystery of Scooby Doo many things have happened to the Gang. The first thing that happened was a terrible falling out between Freddie and Shaggy this happened during one of Scooby's birthday parties. Shaggy claimed that Daphne liked him, and Freddie claimed that she liked him. Daphne didn't want to get involved because both were her friends, so Shaggy stormed off. Around 1986 Shaggy and Freddie were forced to appear at a promotion together so they got the chance to bury the hatchet and are best of friends again. Once Shaggy and Freddie made up Freddie asked Daphne to marry him, she said yes and the two had two kids who are currently solving local mysteries. All of this was fine by Shaggy, he was happy for the two.

VELMA

After the mysteries ended Velma decided to move out to Washington D.C. and started to work as anchor woman for the local news show "Washington Tonight" the show lasted some time until she quit because of financial disputes. She laid low for a bit but then around 1985 she appeared on a series of commercials in England, the people there loved her. Since the people loved her she bought a small castle in Manchester (not haunted). She took her career to the stage as a story teller for small children, this would give her a chance to share some of her stories from her days as a teenager (solving mysteries). The children loved her there so she now lives permanently in Manchester only visiting America for the gangs annual get together.

FREDDIE

After the mysteries ended Freddie finally popped the "question" on Daphne. The two got married three years after the question was asked because of Daphne's career. They moved out to Cape Cod and live in a nice white picket fence house which costed them lots of money. Freddie still had his hankering for solving mysteries so joined the C.C.P.D. (Cape Cod Police Department) and came on as their detective. Freddie was fortunate enough to find that Cape Cod had tons of haunted houses for him to investigate which kept him busy for years. After he got over his "Mystery bug" he became a stock broker but failed at that because of his lack of education (ever wonder how the gang went to school when they were solving mysteries?). Daphne supported the two of them for a while until Fred became a famed infomercial host which gave him lots of money. That is when the two had their twins who are growing up to be junior detectives.

DAPHNE

Daphne decided to pursue her modelling dream which in turn held off the wedding between her and Freddie because she was overseas for long periods of time. Once she returned to Cape Cod she had become so famous that she was able to base her modelling career locally and the public would come to her. Now there was no need for travel unless for pleasure. Daphne had done all there was to do in the modelling business and decided to open up a modelling agency which became quite successful. She tried to get Fred to model but he never wanted to. Daphne goes up to England once a year to visit Velma, the two stay together for about three months every year and have the time of their lives reminiscing. Currently Daphne is writing her memoirs of her life which should be on sale in about a year. Daphne and Freddie's house can always be noticed because of the mess of reporters constantly swarming their house. The National Globe (tabloid paper) always tries to involve her in scandals which never turn up to be anything.

SHAGGY

Shaggy currently lives in Las Vegas with Scooby in a deluxe Pent House apartment on top of the Mirage hotel. He is a local celebrity not so much for his stories of the past but mainly for his stand-up comedy career he pursued after the Gang split up. He has performed in almost every comedy venue in North America and holds the world record for the most shows ever played by a stand-up. Shaggy has appeared on the Tonight show many many times. The fun thing about his comedy would be that it is all stories of his life, and his best joke takes place from the "Mystery Mask Mix-up" episode. Despite living in Las Vegas Shaggy has never had the urge to gamble. He also owns a five star gourmet restaurant, which has many chains across America. He is currently dating a woman who also acts as his manager. If the two get married it will be his third marriage. In a recent interview Shaggy stated "The only thing in my life that I regret would be that there was never a video camera to record some of our adventures." (little does Shaggy know that his adventures went on to become the greatest television show of all time)

SCOOBY

Scooby currently lives with Shaggy in his Las Vegas apartment. Now a'days Scooby isn't very productive. But years ago Scooby stared in various movies and he did his own stunts. He got to travel all over the world to do his movies (most of them he wrote). They were blockbuster hits in North America but you can't begin to Imagine the success that they had in Japan. Scooby Doo had a brief fling with Scooby Dee but the two were not able to work things out as a couple (they argued a lot). Scooby Doo is President of the Kennel Club in his area and meets monthly with them. Scooby goes out of town a lot to visit his cousin Scooby Dum who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. The two of them somehow stumble upon some sort of mystery every time they are paired together.

THE MYSTERY MACHINE

I'll keep this one short. The gang donated the mystery machine to an auction and it sold for
$15, 000 000.50 and it is currently in a museum in Los Angeles.
