FOUR CORNERS
Ann-Margret will be starring in her first television series debuting Tuesday, February 24th from 9:00 to 11:00 EST. It will continue to be broadast on Tuesdays from 10:00-11:00 EST. CBS will broadcast "Four Corners" (formerly "Ventanas", "Santa Fe", and "Homestead"), Ann-Margret's new television series. (Ventanas is Spanish for windows.)
The combined production teams consist of Michael Filerman and David Jacobs ("Knots Landing" "Falcon Crest" "Dallas") with Roger Smith and Alan Margulies ("C.C. & Company" "Murderous Passion").
Principal photography has begun shooting in the San Gabriel Mountains, California, 50 miles north of Los Angeles, on Tuesday, January 6th, 1998. CBS has ordered 8 episodes to be aired during the last two months of the current television season.
"Four Corners" describes the only spot in the United States where four states meet (you can actually stand with your feet in four states when you stand on this spot, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona). New Mexico is the only state of the four which has a road that leads to this spot. Indian Reservations cover this area today. This four corner area is where the stories take place.
"Four Corners" is about the story of Amanda Wyatt. She runs the large New Mexico cattle ranch, "Homestead," with the incredible Homestead Lodge Ski Resort as part of her property. Supporting her is Sonia Braga who plays Amanda's best friend, Carlota Enriquez. Carlota, also a widow, runs a local diner.
