1. Are you Ralph Macchio?
No, I am not Ralph Macchio. However, some people say I look kind of like "Freddy" from "The Karate Kid." Of course, these people are on drugs.

2. If you're not Ralph Macchio, who the hell are you?
My name is Matt. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with majors in Creative Writing and Afro-American literature. Currently, I am a graduate student in Afro-American Studies. If I could be any animal, I'd be a giant squid. If you don't understand why, use the power of the Internet to see what's up with the giant squid.

3. Why do you like Ralph Macchio so much?
I love Ralph Macchio because he is a classic 80's actor who made films which should be appreciated and remembered. Films like "The Karate Kid" and "The Outsiders" were key films in my developing years (developing years = birth --> now). Movies like "Distant Thunder" and "My Cousin Vinny" are incredibly underrated films that should be seen by more people. And movies such as "Up the Academy" and "Naked In New York" help show his acting range. In short, I love Ralph Macchio because he gave the world some great flicks, and we should give some of that back.

4. Are you some sort of freak?
Yes I am.

5. Where can I get a copy of "The Karate Kid" soundtrack?

Go here to buy Ralph Macchio stuff. Personally, I don't need it, so stop trying to sell it to me. On cassette and on vinyl, baby. I don't mess around.



6. Can you get me Ralph's e-mail address?
*sigh* Unfortunately, if the great Macchio man is on the 'net, my vast expertise of surfing the web has failed me. I can't find anything on how to get in touch with him, and all I ask is that you spread the word about the Ralph Macchio Homepage. If news reaches the right ears, perhaps we'll hear from him someday.

7. Are you and Ralph good buddies?
We're as good of buddies as two guys who've never met can be.

8. What is Ralph doing now?
Ralph just finished up "Can't Be Heaven," which should be released later this year. Before that, he toured with "How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying." I saw the show in Chicago a few summers ago, and let me say it is incredible. I strongly urge you to go see it. Even if you're not a Macchio Maniac, you'll still enjoy it. As for what he is doing right at this very second, I really don't know. My hidden cameras have been on the fritz lately.
