Assorted Stuff...

The video release of Journey Home: The Animals of Farthing Wood may have been a hoax. As you may or may not know, this was a direct-to-video animated film in which Ralph Macchio provided the voice for Brave Fox. However, I cannot seem to track it down; add it to the X Files. You can check out the only link I have to it at this location:

Journey Home

There was once a pilot for a television show entitled simply The Ralph Macchio Project. Really, what better title could there be? I am working on acquiring the script. You will all, of course, be updated.

Ralph appeared on a September 1996 braodcast of The Rosie O'Donnell Show concerning his tour with How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Again, I will attempt to locate aforementioned program. You may all thank me later. Or, you could thank me now.

Jessi, possibly the most zealous Macchio Maniac I have met, sent me info on Ralph's pro hockey career...

Great news. I think that I, rlcinderella, may have stumbled onto some Macchio news that will shock and surprise you! Never, until this point, have I been able to contribute any new information that [Matt] did not already know...but this could be the turning point. Here goes...did you know that Ralph Macchio has been named the celebrity captain of the New York Islanders? I know because there is an actual RALPH MACCHIO HOCKEY CARD that I happen to have in my possession!!! My little brother connects cards like a maniac and when he opened a pack the other day he was like "Hey sis...you want this?" and of course I almost hit the roof. He's posing in a captain's uniform with goalie gloves on and everthing. The front says "Ralph Macchio*Islanders". In case you want it on the page, the back reads (exactly):

"Celebrated for his perfomance as Johnny in Francis Ford Coppola's 'The Outsiders' and for title roles in 'The Karate Kid' and its successors, Ralph Macchio has been named Celebrity Captain for the New York Islanders. Macchio, who has continued to prove his talent on the screen, stage and television, most recently appeared in the movie 'My Cousin Vinny' and has completed the television film 'Garwood' with Martin Sheen for ABC.

"Taking on roles that stretch his career, Macchio portrayed the victim of the progressive aging disease, progeria, in the ABC television movie 'The Three Wishes of Billy Grier', recently performed in an off-Broadway production of 'Only Kidding', and starred opposite Robert De Niro in the public theater production of 'Cuba and His Teddy Bear.'"

The bottom says: Pro Set copyright NHL 1992

I will pay ten million dollars for one of those cards. Really, I will. I just need to get ten million dollars first.

Don't forget to vote for your favorite Ralph Macchio film!
