Review: Slammin'! First of all this album is not what I expected it to be... I heard this album was suposed to have more of a
hip-hop edge. Well, that's not exactly true.. Yeah, I guess this album has more of a hip-hop edge than her past albums but I
expected more. This album is still very much in the genre of R&B. By the way, the track Babydoll does not feature Missy
Elliot rapping. She just helped out in writing the lyrics... I was disapointed about that... But, the album is still phat. It features
good R&B and the hip-hop that is on it is da butta! If you like R&B a lot you'll probably really like this album a lot! For a lot
of you hip-hop music listeners you might be better off just getting the single to Honey which features the original version and
the remix. (The remix to Honey is not on Butterfly.) The best tracks with a hip-hop edge are Honey, The Roof, and
Breakdown which features Bone Thugs 'N' Harmony. The best R&B tracks are Butterfly, Whenever You Call, and
Babydoll which has hip-hop beats but it's mostly R&B. Allright so there you go... It's a good album but doesn't have much
hip-hop like everyone said it would. I like it though... It's a good R&B album which includes hints of hip-hop music.
