Pop diva Mariah Carey has been reeling off number one hits since
her 1990 self-titled debut, which yielded no less than four
chart-topping singles: "Vision of Love," "Love Takes Time,"
"Someday" and "I Don't Wanna Cry."
Now a new compilation, entitled -- appropriately enough -- "One"
will collect all of the singer's chart-topping hit singles. Carey recently
earned another number one song with "My All," the latest single off
of her newest album, last year's "Butterfly."
The album, which representatives stress is not a "Greatest Hits"
package per se, will also include several bonus tracks, including
"Sweetheart," Carey's collaboration with Jermaine Dupri that's
already available on his recent release, "Life in 1472" (which hasn't
hit number one ... yet).
Mariah Carey's "One" album is tentatively slated for a Christmas
release.
