Jason asks Emily to be Michael's godmother.....

Emily is at the Outback with Sarah and some other friends. Jason comes over to where Emily is sitting and asks to speak to her. Emily and Jason go and sit at a nearby table.

Jason: "So how's it going since you've gone back home?"

Emily: "Awful. Grandfather, Dad, and A.J. are apologizing every two minutes and for the wrong reasons and to the wrong person. I'm not the one they tried to hurt."

Jason: "Don't worry about it, they didn't succeed."

Emily: "So. How's the baby?"

Jason: "Well, he spends...."(laughs)"....all day trying to flip over. I've never seen anybody work so hard."

Emily: "Really? Just like his dad. So when's Carly coming back? I mean we can't be calling him 'the baby' forever."

Jason: "I know. That's why I asked you here."

Emily: "We're going to name the baby?"

Jason: "More than that. We're going to have him baptized, and I can't wait for Carly to do that. I need your help."

Jason: "Things are changing a lot, and it's got me thinking about who I want to be in the kid's life. He needs family. Not the Quartermaines, but people who will love him and help him learn what he needs to, and I want you to do that, and I know that you can do that. Will you be his godmother?"

Emily: (answering immediately) "Of course Jason. No one has ever asked me to do something this important before."

Jason: "Maybe it's time they did. You already saved the kid from the Quartermaines, the rest of the job will be a snap."

Emily: "I'll never forget this Jason. Ah, I'll be the best godmother I can for this child."

Jason: "I know you will. Oh, Mike told me to ask you if you were Catholic. You told me your real mom was."

Emily: "Oh. I am too. My mom was too. She had me confirmed before she passed away. Um.....the priest said it was okay cause she wanted to see it. So I guess I qualify."

Jason: "Good, cause I wouldn't want anyone else. Emily: "Oh, oh.....so when's the baptism?"

Jason: "This Friday at the Queen of Angels. Listen to me, I don't want the Quartermaines to know. So you will have to meet me there or meet me at the penthouse."

Emily: "Ahhh.....what about grandmother? Jason, she would really want to be there, and she wouldn't say anything if you didn't want her to."

Jason: (shakes his head): "No. They could follow her. Look I'm sorry Em, but I can't have them anywhere near him."

Emily: "You're right. She'll understand."

Jason: "Okay. So Friday I'll send you a car, you just meet it at the top of the drive."
Emily: "No its okay. I'll find my own way to the church. I don't want anybody following me. Can I tell Sarah?"

Jason: "Okay." (Emily and Jason get up from the table) "Make sure she understands that the Quartermaines are not to know."

Emily: "Okay. I love you." (Emily hugs Jason and goes to tell Sarah about the baptism.)
