Robin confronts Jason about his baby.....

Thanks to member and club assistant Jennifer for this transcript. = )

Jason is bringing the baby home. Outside the door to the penthouse, Renaldo tells Jason that he has a "safe" visitor. Jason opens the door and Robin is sitting down at the table. Robin and Jason just stare at each other.

Jason: "Hi."

Robin: (standing up) "Hi."

Jason: "He's asleep. I'm going to take him upstairs."

Robin: "Can I see him first?" (he shows her the baby) "Ah, he's so beautiful."

Jason: "You-You want to hold him?"

Robin: (smiles) "Please."

Jason: (whispering) "Okay. Come on this way. Put your arm right under there. Be careful." (Jason hands Robin the baby) "Careful. Careful. Careful. Got him?"

Robin: (whispering) "Hi. Hi angel. Hi. What's his name?"

Jason: "It's Baby Boy Morgan."

Robin: (smiling) "I just love babies."

Jason: "He's the first one I've ever held. You do it better than me."

Robin: "You were doing just fine."

Jason: (shaking his head) "No. Uh-Uh, he fits in your arms."

Robin: (talking to the baby) "You are so sweet. So sweet. Where's your mommy and daddy huh?" (looks at Jason) "Jason, how did you wind up with him?"

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Jason: "Carly asked me to take care of him."

Robin: "By yourself?"

Jason: "No. Graciela's cousin is supposed to be....supposed to be." (looks toward the stairs)

A woman comes downstairs.

Jason: "Leticia I didn't see you. Can you take the baby? Leticia this is Robin Scorpio. This is Leticia Juarez."

Robin: "Nice to meet you."

Leticia: "And you."

Jason: (talking to the baby) "Here he is right here. Leticia's going to take care of you. Okay?"

Robin hands the baby over to Leticia.

Jason: "Got him?"

Leticia: "You have a handsome son Mr. Morgan."

Jason: "Is everything ready for him?"

Leticia: "I have a bottle waiting, but I think he'd rather sleep."

Jason: "Okay. You let me know if he needs anything."

Leticia: "I will. Good-night." (she takes the baby upstairs)

Jason: "Good-night." (he walks over to the table by the couch and puts the baby's diaper bag down) "They're sleeping in Stone's room."

Robin: "That's fine."

Jason: "I.....I can move them."

Robin: "Stone would like it. Where are you sleeping?"

Jason: (pointing to the couch) "The couch."

Robin: "Every night? Sonny would kill you."

Jason: "He only said not to sleep on the floor."

Robin: "Well its going to ruin the upholstry, and I really don't see you picking out any patterns."

Jason: (walks over to the bar) "You know, I don't want to use Sonny's room, and Carly's going to need the guestroom when she gets back." (Jason pours some water)

Robin: "You know what? You can use that room right off the kitchen. You can probably fit a bed in there."

Jason: "Yeah. I guess--I guess I can order one. (Jason takes a sip of water, and looks at Robin) "What?"

Robin: "I guess I'm just not used to you ordering things."

Jason: "Neither am I."

Robin: "So Carly's coming back?"

Jason: "Yeah."

Robin: "When?"

Jason: "Ah.....you know I don't know.....she was pretty wrecked after the baby was born. There was a flap in his heart that didn't close right, and they had to operate. She-She thought it was her fault."

Robin: "So she left?"

Jason: "She ahhh.....was afraid she'd do something wrong and they would take the baby away. So she asked me if I would get her out of town. I did, and I promised to take care of the kid until she came back."

Robin: "Carly told everyone that you are the father?"

Jason: "She had a fight with Dr. Jones, and said I was--I was the baby's father. Then she showed up here and begged me not to say anything different. I told her she could stay. I told her I give her money. But I was not going to lie. So she asked if I wouldn't say anything at all. Robin, nobody ever asked me. Straight out. Nobody. Now my name's on the birth certificate and everybody believes it."

Robin: "Except me."

Jason: "I should have probably written and told you what was going on. But after Paris, I thought I should leave you alone."

Robin: "You said that you wouldn't be with Carly again. So I knew.....it wasn't your baby. But, helping her tell everyone that your the father is like helping her steal the baby away from Tony."

Jason: "Dr. Jones isn't the father." (pauses) "A.J. is."

Robin just shakes her head.

Robin is sitting down taking her pills. Jason brings Robin some water.

Jason: "Here you go."

Robin: "Thank you very much."

Jason: "So how's the protocol going?"

Robin: "The same. Virual load undetectable, no major side effects."

Jason: "I'm glad you're staying with it."

Robin: "There's no reason not too. After all my worrying. Like taking thirty pills a day is just something you get used too. No big deal." (Robin gets up and goes to the bar)

Jason: "You still don't have to lie to me."

Robin: "Taking thirty pills a day is worth it to me. Because I know that the virus is progressing slower. I'm gonna live longer and I'll be around when they find a cure. I really don't mind taking the medication. Except when someone asks why because.....I promised myself from the beginning, I'd be honest with everyone. And it doesn't get any easier telling people I'm HIV positive. So I just try and stay on schedule. So that I don't have to stop in the middle of something important. Just like I did."

Jason: "What threw you off?"

Robin: "Brenda. She's the one that told me about Carly and the baby. She wanted to hurt me Jason. I think because it's a way to hurt you. But in her right mind she would never ever ever attack me like that."

Jason: (pauses) "She kissed me."

Robin: "She told me. She said that you came on to her." (Jason has an angry look on his face) "Please don't hate her."

Jason: "Can I hate that she hurt you?"

Robin: "People get lost when they're in pain. They do things that they don't mean."

Jason: "She said that I never cared for you at all."

Robin: (goes and sits down next to Jason) "Do you believe that?"

Jason: "No." (walks over to the fireplace)

Robin: "So are you going to explain to me how A.J. got to be the father of Carly's baby?"

Jason: "They had sex." (he smiles)

Robin: "That much I assumed."

Jason: (goes and sits back down) "Yeah. Well uh.....she had a fight with Dr. Jones, again, and came looking for me at Jake's. I guess so she could cry and tell me how much she loved him even though he treated her like dirt. She did that a lot. Well, I wasn't there.....A.J. was. They got drunk, went upstairs and had sex in my room, and I gave him a key because you said to be nice to him."

Robin: "Does A.J. know he's the father?"

Jason: "He's sure he's not. See the baby has the same blood type I do. A.J. thinks that proves that I'm the father."

Robin: "Well are you going to let him go on believing that?"

Jason: "Yeah."

Robin: "Jason, you can't do that."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Robin: "A.J. is the father, he's got a right to know its his baby."

Jason: "You do it too."

Robin: "What?"

Jason: "What? You talk about the kid like he's a car. The baby isn't A.J.'s. He isn't really even Carly's. She carried him inside her, but that does not mean she owns him."

Robin: "Of course not."

Jason: "A.J. thought he did. He and Dr. Jones showed up here and told Carly that they were going to take the baby away from her as soon as the kid was born."

Robin: "Does Tony know about A.J.?"

Jason: "I don't know. Anyway it doesn't matter. A.J. is the father. He's the one that can take the kid if he knew. That's why..."(Jason stands up) "...he can't know."

Robin: (stands up. Jason is getting some water) "Both mother's and father's have right to their children. Not because they own them. Because a little child isn't capable of taking care of himself. That's why they, the people that bring the child into this world, the mother and the father.....that's why they get to take care of him. That little baby upstairs is a part of A.J. He should be allowed to raise him."

There's a knock at the door.

Jason: "Just a sec."

Jason: (he walks to the door) "Yeah?"

Renaldo: "Jax is here." (Jason opens the door with an annoyed look on his face)

Jax: "Brenda's gone. I want to know if Sonny took her."

Jason: (talking to Renaldo) "Get rid of him."

Robin: "Jason.....please."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Jax: (Jason lets him in) "Heard from your boss lately?"

Jason: (annoyed) "Now Jax. It is not Sonny. He does not want Brenda with him."

Jax: "Well. He's been known to change his mind. Or could it be another of your business associates. Kidnapping Brenda to get back at him?"

Jason: "Look, I would have heard from the guard if someone grabbed her."

Jax: "That's what I thought. Call them."

Jason: "Wait. Wait. You don't come in my house and give me orders."

Robin: "Jason, please."

Jason picks up the phone and starts dialing.

Jax: "I shouldn't have left her."

Robin: "You didn't know."

Jason: (talking on the phone) "Who's on Brenda?"

Jax: (to Robin) "Yes I did."

Jason: (on the phone) "Have them call me." (hangs up)

Jax: "She's unbalanced Robin, and we both know it. She's going to have to be re-admitted to the hospital. I mean I was debating in the woods whether or not to call a psychiatrist. She's run off to God knows where. It's winter and the roads are icy."

The phone rings, and Jason answers it.

Jason: "Is she alright? Where is she? Thanks." (hangs up) Jason: "St. Joseph's Cemetary."

Jax: "Why?"

Robin: "Lily's buried there."

Jax: "I think I ought to do this by myself."

Robin: "I don't seem to be giving her any help."

Jax: "She's afraid for you Robin. She might not be expressing it appropriately. But she doesn't want you hurt the way she was. Neither do I." (Jax looks at Jason, then leaves)

Robin: "Jax doesn't know how to help her. Nobody does. I'm really scared for her Jason."(Robin goes and hugs Jason)

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Robin: "Thank you."

Jason: "For what?"

Robin: "Not hitting Jax."

Jason: "Yeah. This is the second time he showed up here. I'm trying, but I can't take much more. I'm-I'm sorry about Brenda and I'll help in any way I can. But I'm getting really tired of him."

Robin: "Jax feels responsible for taking Brenda out of the hospital. For bringing me to Port-Charles."

Jason: "When-When do you go back?"

Robin: "Not sure. You were right. It doesn't matter what language you speak or how much you like a city. It matters how you live your life. What I'm trying to figure out is if I'm better off running away from what I can't have or staying here and learning to accept that. Looking at Brenda, running away doesn't look like such a good idea."

Jason: "You're nothing like her."

Robin: "You're nothing like Sonny. Why am I the only person that sees that?" (pauses) "I should go." (she goes over to the table and gets her coat) "Jax is probably going to bring Brenda home soon and I want to be there if she needs me."

Jason: "How did you get over here?"

Robin: "The bus. I was supposed to meet my Uncle Mac to get my car, but we missed each other."

Jason: "Can I send you home in a limo? Or a cab if you don't want one of my men driving you home."

Robin: (smiles) "A car is just fine."

Jason: (gets up and goes to the door and opens it) "Renaldo, could you have Johnny bring the car around? I want him to drive Miss Scorpio home."

Renaldo: "Sure, no problem."

Jason: "Thanks." (looks at Robin) "It just will be a couple of minutes." (Jason closes the door)

Robin: "Anything to make it easier for the guards. I haven't seen them, but they're around. Obviously."

Jason: "Yeah. Look they don't report on you or Brenda. They don't tell me who's coming over or where you go. They're just there to make you safe."

Robin: "I understand."

Jason: "Here." (he helps Robin put on her coat)

Robin: "About the baby. Would you promise to consider about telling A.J.?"

Jason: "I can't. I can't break my word to Carly."

Robin: "What if she doesn't come back?"

Jason: "She will. I will tell her what you said, that it is better if A.J. knows about the kid. I can't force her to do anything she doesn't want to do."

Robin: "Jason. This is really hard for me. I only know the truth because I know you and if I tell A.J. I would be violating your trust. But, if I don't tell him, A.J. may never know that he has a little baby. And I truly believe that is wrong."

Jason: "Do we have to fix it tonight? The baby's upstairs, he's fine. I'm not going to let anything happen to him."

Robin: "The baby's really lucky to have you. So is Carly."

Renaldo: (knocks on the door) "Car's here."

Jason: (he opens the door for Robin) "Ahhh.....whatever happens with Brenda tell me. I'll do anything I can for her."

Robin: "Okay. I will." (smiles) "I'm really glad I came."

Jason: "So am I."

Robin: "Good-night." (she leaves)

Jason closes the door.
