EMOTIONS IN MOTION:

• When Dawson and Pacey are going into Dawson's house after filming, Pacey has a Polo shirt on and when they get inside Pacey has a different shirt on.

• Just before the group enters the Rialto movie theater, you notice Joey has a black wireless microphone box in the back pocket area of her pants.

• When they are going to the movies, the cast is wearing the same exact outfits as they are during part of the opening credits.

DIRTY DANCING:

• Dawons says, "I should be dancing with her, not some J-Crew ad." Meanwhile, the cast was in a J-Crew ad.

• Joey TRIES to say "The rewind on the remote of life doesn't work," she actually says "The remote on the rewind of life..."

PRELUDE TO A KISS:

• When Joey first sees Anderson, we hear Pacey say, "Forget it Joey, guys off yachts don't go for waitresses." But closed captions and Pacey mouths, "He wants you, Joey."

• In the scene where Anderson and Joey talked for the first time, When the camera is on Anderson, you can see that Joey is holding her apron behind her back, but when the camera is on her, she has her arms crossed in front (her apron is somewhat hidden).

• The television is off when Jen and Dawson run to hide.  In the next shot the TV is on and moved slightly.

BLOWN AWAY:

• Jen and Joey are smoking when they are outside on the porch. They don't show any clips where they actually have cigarettes in their mouths.  But, when Jen comes out of the house, she turns her back and makes movements to hint that she is lighting a cigarette, and in some clips, you can see Joey holding a lighter and a cigarette.

• Mrs. Leery's hair seems to get darker and darker throughout the episode.

THE BREAKFAST CLUB:

• When Dawson throws the basketball at Pacey, it hits Pacey in the nose, hits the camera, and then bounces off into the direction of Pacey.

• Detention started at 8am and finished at 5pm which is 9 hours but everyone says it's only 8 hours.

• When Joey asks Jen if Dawson is the guy she is most attracted to in Capeside, Jen gets upset and Joey storms off. When you first see Joey walking off she is next to Dawson, but when Dawson tells them all that their breaking out of the library, she is standing behind Pacey.

MODERN ROMANCE:

• The waterline on Joey's shirt goes up and down and up and down...

• When Joey gets in the truck (after changing from her wet clothes) her hair is inside the blanket, when they show her next her hair is out of the blanket.

THE SCARE:

• A Scream mask appears on a shelf with other heads and masks.

• Dawson, Joey, and Pacey leave to go to the grocery store when it is still light out, but arrive when they arrive there its completely dark.

• When pacey shows up at Dawsons house he has hot wired the car and makes Joey stay in it at store. But at the end when he leaves Dawson's he starts it with keys!

PRETTY WOMAN:

• Joey slightly leans over on purpose to make the book fall.

BREAKING AWAY:

• When Dawson looks out the window to call Joey back after Joey witnessed Dawson and Jen kissing, there is nothing inside his room; no posters, no door... not even Jen who is standing behind him.

• Dawson is wandering around despondent looking for Joey, the crew was apparently short on extras, because he wanders past Pacey & Jen.

• After Joey sees Dawson and Jen in bed together and she runs off, then Dawson yells out after her, have a look at Dawson when he runs his hands through his hair... he certainly appears to be... ahem... "excited" about something ;-)

THE KISS:

• Dawson's hair is noticably shorter in the first scene than last season's finale. (remember, its suppose to be the same night)

• At the end of season 1, it's cold outside, in the last scene (or first scene of season 2), Dawson is wearing a sweater and Joey a jean coat. The next day, it is summer and they are wearing T-shirt and tank top.

• Jen always has her hair up

• At the end of the first season finale, Joey and Dawson are kissing and the pan-out shows that the shade in his window is down... At the beginning of the first episode in season two, the shade is up.

CROSSROADS:

• Pacey complains about not getting his license today (his birthday), and Dawson doesn't remember. But, at Pacey's dock party the NEXT day, he confronts Dawson about not knowing that that day was his birthday.

• Pacey goes for his license on his 16 th birthday, but in Massacheussets (where Capeside supposedly is) you have to be at least 16 and 9 months before you can go for your license.

TAMARA'S RETURN:

• When Tamara and Pacey are talking in front of her house, there is a man swimming in the water behind them and he keeps popping up in between their faces

• In Alternative Lifestyles they were all in Mr. Milo's class for Econ...well then in the next episode in Tamara's Return, Dawson is trying to tell Pacey that she was back, Pacey said he would get killed if he was late for Econ ...um, I thought they were all in the same class - if Pacey was going there, so should they all have.

FULL MOON RISING:

• In this episode Pacey asks Andie to go to a movie at the Rialto. But, in the Season Premiere, it clearly states that the movie theatre is being shut down for a while. Dawson and Joey even have their first official date on closing night.

THE DANCE:

• In the first part of the first scene, when they are all watching Footloose, Pacey is sitting on one side of the bed, but when Andie walks over and starts talking about sex, Pacey is sitting on the other side of the bed.

THE ALL-NIGHTER:

• When Joey goes into Gina (Chris little sister's) room there is a poster of Edwin McCain ("I'll Be" from Breaking Away) beside her door.

• When Pacey and Andie are outside on the swing seat her legs are crossed but as the camera pans out at the end of the scene her legs are uncrossed.

RELUCTANT HERO:

• Joey didn't close her locker door when she was talking to Jack.

• Dawson says he'll pick Jen up at 7, but when they get to the party it's still mid-afternoon!

THE ELECTION:

• When Andie and Pacey are in the bathroom facing the mirror the side shot shows that his arms are around her waist but then in the next shot it shows the front of them and Pacey has one hand on her shoulder. When did he move his hand?

• On Andie's medication, it is prescribed for Andrea McPhee. On her driver's licsense, it says her name is just Andie ("The Kiss"), not Andrea. Wouldn't your full name be on your driver's license?

SEX, SHE WROTE:

• Joey and Dawson are at their lockers and then start talking, Joey doesn't close or lock her locker.

HIS LEADING LADY:

• When Pacey was climbing up the terrace to Andie's window, when the camera shows Andie looking out of the window and down at Pacey, the background is a chandelier and the lights are on. But when Pacey climbs throught the window, it's pitch dark and we're in Andie room (no chandelier).

THAT IS THE QUESTION:

• Andie and Jack's father is different from the one in Full Moon Rising.

A PERFECT WEDDING:

• When Andie and Pacey are discussing Nike shoes, they show Pacey with bottled water in his hand. They cut very briefly to Andie and when they cut back to Pacey, he now has a sandwich in his hand.

• When Pacey and Andie are in the kitchen fixing the wedding cake Pacey points at Andie and his fingers are covered in frosting, they took a quick shot of Andie then turned back to Pacey he has his hands on his waists and they are spotless.

MISCELLANEOUS:

• Almost all the show titles from Season One were also movie titles. (i.e. Look Who's Talking, Blown Away and Dirty Dancing.)

• Most of the shows start in Dawson's bedroom and they (usually Dawson and Joey) are watching TV

• There are posters of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" in the video store, in Mr Gold's classroom, and in Dawson's room.

• There is a "Scream" poster above Dawson's bed.

• The posters on Dawson's closet doors changed from the first episode. And a "Misery" poster was added.

• Nellie must be a year older than Dawson because she is in film class with him, but then how come she was in Pacey's English class?

• The actor that played Bodie changed after the first episode.

• That most of the characters only wore the same outfit once. 

• Also, "Bob's" character changed after the first episode.

• The wall behind Dawson's bed (decoration) changes in almost every episode.

• The truck that Bessie got stuck in the mud (Baby) was the Witter family truck in "Double Date" and future episodes.

• In the first episode Dawson only had posters of movies directed by Steven Speilberg, but after that episode Kevin Williamson movie posters started popping out of nowhere.

• In the last episode (Decisions), in the first scene when Dawson and Joey are in his bedroom..above his closet door is a street sign called Dawson St. There is an actual Dawson St. in Wilmington, N.C. where the show is filmed.

• Their lockers are always in different places.

• In the pilot, the door to Dawson's room is on the wall adjacent to the closet, but in later episodes it is on the same wall as closet.

• Also they show one side that says Capeside HS, Home of the Wildcats. This sign is red, white, and blue. The other sign they show is also for the high school but it says Home of the Minutemen and it's yellow and blue. (Note: the show people decided to have Minutemen as the school's mascot)

• After the first episode, the two movie posters inside Dawson's closet are different.

• The door to Tamara's English classroom is on the farthest corner of the right wall but in later episodes it is by the nearest corner of left wall.

• The boats that are filmed in a lot of the episodes have some special names.  An example is one of the boats was called "Dawson's Delight"

• Dawson has 2 posters of the movie "Jaws" in his room. One on his door, and one above the shelf with all the heads.

• We haven't seen Bodie (Joey's sister's boyfriend) in Season two yet.

• All the boats in the show have registration numbers that start with "NC" meaning they are in North Carolina, instead of "MA" for Massachusetts.  Also, the boat Dawson drives is a Scout, which is made in Charleston, SC and not really sold too much out of the southeast.

• In the 2nd season, Joey has suddenly transformed herself from "tomboy" to "pretty girl," even her wardrobe and make up have changed dramatically.

• Dawson, Joey, and Pacey always protest against pep rallies, cheer-leaders, football meadheads, and school dances. But, despite their ranting and raving, they have attended both dances.
