Instructions for Those Bradelicious tiles!!!
Just in case you don't know what to do with these HOT tiles...I know most of you know how to do this but it's always nice to have a reference. These instructions are mainly for Windows and Internet Explorer...I don't have anything else, but I'm pretty sure Mac,Linux and/or Netscape have a system similar to this one. Enjoy!!!
To Save The Tiles...
Right Click on your mouse,Choose "SAVE AS" in the menu list that opens up. Then choose or make your folder that you wish to place the bradelicious tiles...then Click "SAVE"
To Place them Onto your Desktop for Backgrounds...
Go into "CONTROL PANEL" in your computer. Double Click on the DISPLAY ICON then click on the Backgrounds tab on the right hand side you should see the Wallpaper Settings Choose your tile(s) that you saved from Pitt Trinity then where it says Display check Tile
*NOTE* If you try to do this on the Pattern side it won't work unless you save the tile in bitmap (you can do that in any image editor like PaintshopPro or Photoshop or ACDSee anything with file format exchanges in it)you can do it this way if you wish to save space on your computer but they might not be as clear as .JPG though.
Also if you click Center in your Display options you'll only get that one tile not the background...you don't want that do you *hugs*
To Place Them into Your Web Page Documents...
Using a Web Editor
In your Web Editor if there is a "Document Properties","Page Properties", or any Menu Option like this in your program...simply open that up and where it says "BACKGROUND IMAGE" click the Browse button or type in the information for your image tile in the information window, then click OK.
Some Web Editors have a slightly diffrent system than that I've just gave you but basically it's the same.
Putting it into your HTML Tags...
Yes for those that don't have the option given above, here's the HARD way...Baby I feel love for you hehehe. I learned it this way too.*hugs* I didn't have the option above when I first learned it either.
Okay before I start...my HTML ain't all that. If you have a better way of doing this ooh do tell me. But this does work though.
In your Body Attributes in your HTML text write this tag
background="the name of your file.extension" then finish out the rest of your Body attributes.
If you have subdirectories...background="the directory/the name of your file.extension" then finish your Body tags.
*NOTE* Offline and Online Editors have diffrent ways they format the tags...you can change the tags around to suit the offline and/or online editor you're working on.
For example...Angelfire you have to write your tag like this /images/ and on Geocities you write it like this images/....hope I'm making sense here because it is confusing and awkward at first but it does get better in time.
