There is no need to be afraid anymore
There are no more doubts fueling fears
There are no more misunderstandings raising anger
There is no more pain giving way to tears.
There is just peace-
Beautiful peace.
The kind of love you seek can now be found
As well as the girl you once loved-
So, come in-
Occupy once again the place saved for you.
There is no reason to be afraid...
Of me.
However, be forewarned, my friend-
Once you enter, you'll no longer be alone
I could be sitting beside you
Or I could be observing from a distance,
But no matter where you are
This poet, you see, won't be far.
It's been rid of the negativity
And been consumed with Joy.
The rules have changed now, you see-
Promises are only made together
And contracts?
I'd never dream of holding you here.
Although I must warn you-
This Joy can't help but bind your heart to mine-
Whether we like it or not.
Therefore, whether separated or not, I won't have to look far
To find you.
Heartache has ceased
Worries and guilt are given over to the Joy
And I am no longer ashamed.
In this place, there is only a love that can't be explained
Only someone who knows she's not perfect
But doesn't let that stop her from receiving happiness.
Only someone who simply believes in you
Someone to walk beside you when you're rather not follow or lead
Someone to carry you when the path gets narrow
Someone to hold you when you just can't continue on.
You see, it is here you can hide from the world,
Expose your hurt,
And heal.
Find here a place to rest-
A shelter where you may learn what love is supposed to be
And just how it can heal a soul.
It is here you may come to set aside your many masks...
And just be you.
For even this solid foundation can get bruised
And this fountation of faith can become dry.
But do not fear-
Even when the light is dim
It still shines on that spot you own
And vows to never go out, even when provoked.
For this place you've entered is my heart
And even when the mind goes to battle against it-
The heart always wins.
So, take your time to heal-
To free yourself from whatever clings to you in the world.
I'll set my pride aside
For it's not important anyway.
I'll leave this place open to you-
Take your time to smell the flowers
Their scent beholds the lessons of faith and honesty.
If the ghosts in the halls of your life
Become too much to handle,
Scream.
Let it out.
These walls have vanished since you were last here-
Your screams will no longer echo.
They're free now to fly up to Heaven.
You'll always be welcomed here with open arms.
It should go without saying
That you will always be wanted here and loved at all times.
This spot here in this heart of mine is reserved for you,
And the light that shines on that spot will keep it warm.
Should you ever need that light, if your world grows cold,
And the loneliness makes your trembling hard to stop,
Keep in mind that it is always yours to take.
Come in, my friend.
Stay as long as you wish
Experience the freedom of Joy-
The way it makes you laugh and cry at the same time.
