Have you ever wondered why every anime character has a bloodtype listed?? Well, thanks to Sushi & Dreamcatcher I found out the following information (which originally ran on the FY Mailing List) :)
Each bloodtype represents a certain set of characteristics (which, in case you happen to wonder, holds pretty true for me). I'll detail Hotohori's here, with comments, and then simply list the others.

My Comments:
Okies - most of the above I have to agree with. He can be very polite, tends to worry alot (esp. about Miaka), took self-sacrificing to the extreme meaning, and can let his emotions take control and over power his better judgement. I suppose he could be considered anit-social, but that is mostly due to the postion he holds.
I wouldn't consider him weak-willed, indecisive or wishy-washy. After all, he stuck with his decision not to marry, went off to war (much against his Advisor's wishes, I'm sure,) and even stands up for himself in front of Tamahome in confessing his love for Miaka.
