Air Force One

AIR FORCE ONE

Rating:

Well I can't say too much about this score yet because I haven't seen the movie yet. However, starting with the first track I think that this is one of my favorite Jerry Goldsmith scores if not the most patriotic. Yes I too hear the resemblances to Star Trek: First Contact but I just think this adds the flavor to Goldsmith's score to one of the biggest films of 1997. I can't say too much about this score just yet until I get to see the film myself. I will however next month have my own copy of Air Force One and after that I can do a in-depth analysis. But until that time comes which I'll keep you up to date my only complaints are that with a lot of Jerry Goldsmith's scores that they are too short and also the fact that Varese Sarabande a soundtrack company rarely does anything to make a score as good as it is because from what I've heard is that there is a lot of music missing here so until that time comes this is my review so far.
