DesiRing makes it easy for users to find new and exciting sites to visit that they might otherwise not encounter. Webrings are yet another option to bring traffic to your site. Read on to learn how it works and how easy it is to join us!

What is DesiRing?

DesiRing is a totally free service offered to the Movie industry in Inidia "Bollywood". We function in cooperation with Webring which brings you over 15,000 currently active webs on the Internet spanning a wide variety of subjects.

Webrings provide web visitors with a different way to locate web sites of interest. The Webring is a way to group together sites with similar content (or any pages at all, if one so desires) by linking them together in a circle, or ring.

From any member site in the webring, you can click on a "Next" or "Previous" link to go to adjacent sites in the ring and--if you do it long enough--wind up on the same site where you started.

When you join a webring, you place this piece of HTML code (text) on your homepage and it NEVER REQUIRES CHANGING. Links in that code point to a special CGI script at webring.org that will send people to the next (or previous) site in the ring. Because the central ring database is located in one location, sites can be added and removed quickly and easily, and because the Webring CGI allows you go continue past sites that are unreachable, users will always be able to continue around the loop.

How Do I Join?

DesiRing is somewhat pre-defined. We of course ask that sites be pertinent to the Bollywood and represent Srats and Other database from bollywood. We do not accept personal pages unless there is substantial content that would be of interest to local viewers. We do not accept "adult" sites or those that would be offensive to the Desi Community in general.

If you find that your site does not fall into this category for any reason, do visit the Webring site to see what they have to offer. Chances are that you will find a ring that does fit your needs.

How Do I Join It?

Click on the link to add your site to the ring, fill out the short form, don't leave out ANY fields! The customized HTML code to be added to your site will be displayed on-line and also sent to you via email.

We are immediately notified of your request and will visit your site to see that it qualifies for inclusion in the ring. We will let you know that you've been approved.
When we visit we look for these things:

You have a Bollywood nature site.
No "Adult" links from your site.
The HTML Code we gave you is not changed. AND
Your site has our Logo. (not needed)up to you.

We will then make your site "live" on the ring and you will automatically be sent an email notification. If your site is not added within 3 days, please contact us . To verify that your site has been added, go to View Index of all sites in the DesiRing.

Your site will remain in our 'queue' up to 14 days allowing you time to add the specified HTML code to your webpage. If you fail to add the specified HTML code during that 14 days, your site will be removed from the addition queue and you will need to resubmit.

In all cases where addition to the ring failed or was incomplete, you will be notified only once by email for the reason and what you can do to obtain a successful addition, if possible.
