Tee [Scott], Larry [Levan], Hippie [Torales] , etc.. That's what got it going. I don't recall Tony [Humphries]. Merlin Bobb was a doorman. By the time Tony got the residency (1982), I was long gone from the scene. Guess I'm getting old (37)!!! One of my fondest memories was the Wed. that Larry played, and as I walked up to the club, I couldn't believe what I was hearing thumping inside (Blue Magic, "Look Me Up", or the night Tee was going off on "Weekend" (Phreek), and Larry helping him out in the booth w/the reel to reel. Awesome days! "
New Jersey club where Tee Scott, and of course Tony Humphries started out as a club DJ, after having gotten a start at Kiss FM radio. Larry Patterson used to run Zanzibar.
