Conditions may be different in other countries - for instance concerning payment for breast reconstruction surgery.
In Denmark most health care is covered by general public health which means it is free and available for everyone - requiring no insurance or separate payment. (On the other hand, the income tax level is higher in Denmark than in many other countries).
Breast reconstruction is not (yet?) a general offer to all women who have had a breast removed.
