.dsb

Name

.dsb --  allocates 8-bit bytes of memory for storage

Syntax

.dsb size

Description

This directive allocate a block of storage whose contents is undefined. Size is the size in bytes. Size must be defined during pass 1. A label is given a size attribute of byte.

Note: This directive gives a warning if used within a ROM section.

Example

	my_bytes:	.dsb 5		; 5 bytes
