.dsw

Name

.dsw --  allocates 16-bit words of memory for storage

Syntax

.dsw size

Description

This directive allocate a block of storage whose contents is undefined. Size is the size in words (words are two bytes). Size must be defined during pass 1. A label is given a size attribute of word.

Note: This directive gives a warning if used within a ROM section.

Example

	my_words:	.dsw 5		; 5 words (10 bytes)
