In 1999 Turner announced that in addition to Mellings
primary sponsor, Cartoon Network. That there would be two
more sponsors that would paint the car in selected races.
Those two sponsors were WCW and TBS Superstation. Thats
where this car came in. TBS had already had one design
before this one featuring the Atlanta Braves. TBS was only
allowed to have two different, and this was their second
design. The car was revealed at California Speedway, and was
made to promote TBS' s Friday night special, Dinner & A
Movie. This car got a lot of second looks because it looked
like it could change into two different colors, but that was
only the sun light. The car was a shiny green in front, and
as it went back it would change a shiny purple, then into a
dark purple. The hood was black with the Dinner & A Movie
logo and the Melling logo underneathe it. Both sides were
the same so im only going to describe one side. The side had
a plate where the front sponsor pannel was, and near the
rear tire was a cool looking roll of film. In front of the
rear tire was the Dinner & A Movie logo and behind the rear
tire was a funny looking TBS logo made out of peppers. The 9
on the car was pretty cool too, it was green with a yellow
out line and the style of it was really cool. You can see

So far this car has only raced one race in which it finished
20th place. But the Dinner & A Movie #9 will races in more
races before the 1999 season is over, so then I will have
more here about the Dinner & A Movie Ford!
