'32 Ford Phantom Vicky

This is AMT's '32 Ford Phantom Vicky #30089

I built this with a few differences, I opted for a full-fendered version. The fenders are from the Revell '32 Coupe, as is the headlight bar. The headlights are Vicky, which I painted the same as the body, which was sprayed with 4 coats of Testors Turquoise "rattle can". The roof was painted using Humbrol satin grey, and trimed with BMF.

The interior was painted using Humbrol, the seats are done in grey satin and the door panels done in black satin and grey satin. Seeing there was a fuel cell and a battery box, and with no trunk, I split the rear seat and converted it to a folding seat, to gain access, the parcel deck was removed from the back of the seat, a scratched parcel deck was then fitted to the inside rear of the body. I also run battery leads, and scratched a filler pipe and fuel lines exiting the tank.

The chrome steel wheels, dogdish caps and tires are from the Revell-Monogram '32 Roadster "diorama" .
