'41 Ford Woody






This is AMT's '41 Ford Woody #30052



Built pretty much from the box with few acceptions.

Body: Airbrushed with 3 coats of Humbrol yellow enamel, the wood was painted using Model Master "wood" enamel, then the transparent woodgrain decals were used on the panels. The roof was painted using Humbrol "sand" matt enamel, and BMF was used on the hood.

Interior: The inside door panels were airbrushed the same color as the body, and Humbrol "satin black" enamel was used on the seats, and material look decals applied for the inlays, the inner roof was painted using Model Master "wood" enamel. The orange/amber rear windows are from an early version of the Orange Crate.

Engine: The engine is from the kit, with a Parts by Parks distributor and coil kit, also their "beehive" oil filter was used.

Wheels: Are Fujimi Sparco 17in with Pirelli rubber.
