Do-up delays double deckers (by Teresa Maxwell, Transport Reporter)

Wellington commuters may have to wait another two months to ride high in the two double decker buses Stagecoach has imported from Britain.
Managing director Ross Martin said it could take that long before the buses were on the road. "We're doing them up quite nicely so it 's taking a little while."
The buses, which arrived in March, will hit the road with one bright yellow for the circular route around the inner-city, and the other in Stagecoach's white, orange and red colours, to be based in the Hutt Valley for charter and school trips.
The buses, which are about 10-12 years old, are being modified to New Zealand standards.
The idea of having double decker buses arose from talks with the Wellington City Council, which saw them as a forerunner to a tram.
Trolley bus lines will not be a problem for the buses, which can pass underneath.
