It's warm.He makes you
feel mushy inside because he conveys
the emotion of warmth
to the crowd so naturally.
i felt my insides turn
to jelo while he sang. And in return
the audience returned
that warmth in form of swaying lighted
lighters and applause
(reminiscent of The Dawn days huh?).
Out goes Wency,In come
The Eraserheads!Do i have to tell you
about all screaming
going on while they took centerstage? Oops! I guess i
just did. And surprise
of surprises their 1st
song was a valuable
(i say valuable because when the E-heads
do a cover which is
next to never.It's so rare that the value
was almost priceless!)cover
of a BEATLES song,
Come Together, And man
did they do a mean cover
with Rico helping out
with the singing and Mark and Nathan on the drums.
Plus they did their
own recent radio chartbuster,
Kamasupra.When it was
time to go down everybody was chanting their name.
Man! Their not only
a band, they're closer to forming a cult!
Just when you think
it's all over,along comes Bamboo doing God
knows what on the stage
and with Rico,belting RiverMaya's certified hits on
stage.Hits like Hinahanap-hanap
Kita,Panahon Na Naman,214,Himala,Bring Me
down,Kisapmata,Awit
ng Kabataan,and finally Elesi.
What more can i say
except they bought the house down.
Security trying to prevent
the people from getting to close on
stage,fans dancing everywhere,shouting
to last a lifetime and
stuffed toys thrown
to them by their fans.Fans wanted more
so after trying to exit
after the song Elesi,they were obliged
to go back on stage
for their last song which was "Kung Ayaw MO Wag MO".
Among the songs of the
Atomic Bomb album which are all fantabulous ,This is
the one i like most.
They're very explosive,A
veritable powerhouse and you never know what to
expect in their live
performances.The visual effects were excellent .Anyway
if they're playing in
an area
close to you watch them
and experience what RiverMaya stands for! What a
night!
