Note: This page remains only as a reference to those who might gain some insight to choosing their own wedding party... as I've already had my wedding this page has already served its purpose and will no longer be updated (visit the corkboard for the latest site news and sneak peeks). However, the invitation is always open for you to contact me with any comments you might have about planning a wedding! *smile*
My fiance, Smike, has already decided on a best man (one who happens to look almost as amazing as he does, all dressed up). This Christmas, we finally sat down and made some real wedding plans, and decided who were going to be the lucky ones in the rest of the wedding party.

So... the next update to this page will be who is in the wedding party, since we just decided and have to ask them before we post it anywhere! I hope that you will keep sending me your thoughtful wedding suggestions, especially the ones for songs and fun things that happened at the last wedding you were at *smile* See you soon!

Currently (April 18, 1997):
My bridesmaids have all accepted, and aside from one rogue groomsman choice (luckily that was taken care of before things got too heavy) the guys are all ready to go. The best man took us out to dinner two evenings ago, and one of my bridesmaids is busy planning a bridal shower. I'm eager to pick out the pattern and fabric for the bridesmaid gowns... I'm finding myself jotting down rough outlines of dresses I catch glimpses of on television! Lisa (alayna) will be gone for a month to help her mother move, leaving me wondering how I'll survive VT without her! *giggle* Anyway, I think we've gathered a fairly eccentric but great bunch of people, and I'm already having so much fun! Thanks, guys!

June 24, 1997...:
There were a few problems and my Matron of Honour has decided not to be a part of the wedding party. Luckily, a good friend of mine agreed to become a part of the crew, so there's still 3 gurls and 3 guys standing up with us. The bridesmaid dresses are getting made, and the tuxes will be picked out this week. The bridal shower went splendidly... what a day to remember! Now that alayna is back home, fittings and shoe-shopping will be a lot easier. Things are going great, and I'm getting really excited for the big day!

Here they are... in all their purple paisley glory...
