As of Tuesday evening, 10 April 2005, Rome time, Cardinal Ratzinger became the first Germam elected Pope in nearly 1000 years.
I wish Pope Benedict XVI a long fruitful reign as the head of the largest branch of the Christian faith. He has some large shoes to fill.

Newsweek (I agree with those who say it should be NewsWeak.) made a weak apology, than a weak retraction. People have been saying,

It seems the radical left have been saying with one voice, "Newsweek lied, people died, blame the Whitehouse." I say the the appropriate people at NewsWEAK should be tried for murder, inciting terrorists, and supporting terrorism through their reporting which they knew would cause problems for America, its people, and its soldiers.

Lt. Col. Allen West, a real soldier and an American hero, commanded an artillery unit in the 4th Infantry Division before being relieved of his command recently. The Army has charged Allen with aggravated assault.

The Wisconsin State Appeals Court, in a May 1999 decision, apparently a group of brain-dead, liberal, ACLU loving fools, has stated that viable unborn human babies are not human beings in a case where a sorry excuse for a human being and horrible mother tried to murder her baby by grossly excess drinking just hours before it was born.
In my humble opinion, that woman was scurvy, bottom feeding slime, hardly any better than the members of the court that made that unbeleivable decision.
