SCOOBY SNACKS






You are listening to the theme from the Scooby Doo!!

After all, these treats are called Scooby Snacks!




1/1/2 Cups Whole Wheat flour
1/4 Cup rye flour
1/2 Cup Oatmeal
1/2 Cup Rice flour
1/4 Cup Liver Powder (available at health food stores)
2 Tablespoons Kelp Powder (available at health food stores)
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1/4 Cup Powdered Dry Milk
2 Eggs, slightly beaten
3 Tablespoons Oil (Bacon Drippings, Vegie Oil, Olive Oil...your choice)
1/4 Cup Warm Water
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoons Yeast Powder


MIX WATER, SUGAR AND SALT IN A MIXING BOWL.

ADD YEAST, STIR, AND LET SIT FOR 10 MINUTES UNTIL THE MIXTURE BEGINS TO BUBBLE

ADD EGGS AND OIL....THEN ALL THE DRY INGREDIENTS REMAINING


MIX WITH A HEAVY SPOON, OR BY HAND. ADD MORE RICE FLOUR IF NEEDED TO BRING TO A SEMI FIRM CONSISTENCY

ROLL AND CUT INTO SHAPES.....OR, FORM INTO BALLS AND FLATTEN

PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEETS AND COVER.

LET RISE FOR 1 HOUR

BAKE IN 350 OVEN FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR....USING TOP SHELVES, UNTIL DRIED THROUGH.


COOL IN OVEN...OR ON RACKS....AND STORE IN COVERED CONTAINER.
