I will always wonder how much of what Lucy did with Mom was because she knew Mom was sick. I recently had some tests done and wasn't feeling very well after them and she got up on me and laid the same way and kept gazing into my face. Then she would reach up and pat it. She used to do this with Mom and we just laughed but I think she really knows when you don't feel well.
