Hardiness: Hardy to 10 degrees; Zones 8-9-10
Growth: Rapid growth to 12 feet by 5 feet
Form: Tall upright shrub
Leaves: Glossy, dark green, oval, pointed, 3 inches long
Flowers: Clusters of cream white flowers in late spring
Fruit or Seeds: Black berries in summer attract birds
Exposure: Full sun to part shade
Water: Water deeply once a month
Soil: Any well drained soil
Fertilizer: NPK and Fe in spring or fall
Prune: Shape and thin after flowering, or shear as a hedge
Problems: Scale insects

Useful as a tall hedge or screen. Good plant for narrow areas.
