Hardiness: Hardy to 20 degrees
Growth: Medium rate of growth to 3-8 feet
Form: Upright when tall; easily pruned to a 3-4 foot mound
Leaves: Round 1/2" dark green leaves with red stems
Flowers: Inconspicuous
Exposure: Full sun or part shade
Water: Thrives on deep water twice a month
Soil: Well drained
Fertilizer: Spring or fall with NPK
Prune: Tip back or shear anytime
Problems: Spider mites, scale

Useful for small hedges and as fine textured shrub. Adaptable to narrow planting beds with minimal pruning.
