Leaves: Bright green, shiny, oval, alternate; new leaves are bronze
Flowers: Inconspicuous
Fruit or Seeds: Blue berries in spring
Exposure: Sun or light shade
Water: Average to little water
Soil: Most soils; prefers good drainage
Fertilizer: Spring or fall or none at all; iron
Prune: Shape and maintain size or as espalier, hedge or small tree

Attractive, easy care, versatile shrub. Takes any amount of pruning. Can be trained as a small tree, as well as a hedge, shrub or espalier. Neat appearance.
