Environmental Songs

Here are some environmental songs my country has produced to instill awareness among the people.
During the environmental week organised by the Interact Club at S.M. Convent (my former high school) Ipoh, we made an album and these were the few songs we sang.

THE FUTURE IS IN OUR HANDS'

Think of a world that's dark and cold
Stars can no longer shine
Time will run out but what can I do
For I know that this world is mine

Chorus: We'll care for the environment
The sea , the air and the land
We'll care for the environment
The future is in our hands

Think of a flower that never blooms
Think of tree so bare
Show me a way to lessen the gloom and live
Us a world to share

'STOP THE POLLUTION'

Water, Earth, Space and Land
Are the parts of all living creatures
So stop the pollution
Save the trees
Let us inherit a better world
Let us begin , lend a hand
Parents, friends and neighbours everywhere
Let us start to care
We'll try as hard as we can
We'll try as hard as we can

'RECYCLE'

Mother Nature is a sweet 'ol gal
She brought us up in this great big world
There's no place like Planet Earth
In the whole of this great , big universe

So take a look around the land
Empty bottles and empty cans
Mother Nature needs a helping hand
So let's try to help around

Recycle, that's what you do
Recycle, save a tree or two
Recycle, state your case
Reprocess you waste
Recycle, let's keep it clean
Recycle, let's turn it green
Recycle, state your case
Reprocess your waste
Show them you've got taste
Save the human race
Don't let it go to waste!
