SUNSET AVENUE COTTAGE
A little story about the prefects commission I belong to, Student Affairs Com.

My mommie is Kok Wee Wen and my daddie is Lim Wee Tin. People often ask me why my parents surnames are different , but, I don’t know, I answer them, I’m only 8 years old.

I come from a huge family, a very loving one. I am the only girl….the Rose among the Thorns. *grin*I have 10 rowdy and noisy brothers and my grand-ma-ma, Lih Yeen, stays with us. Our humble little home is proudly proclaimed S.A.C, Sunset Avenue Cottage.

My brothers are hilarious and hyper active. All talented in their own ways, we make a fabulous team together….especially in football. Maybe that’s why Daddie Wee Tin wanted to have 10 kids, to make a football team. Hee hee!! I play defence, and I play it really well. My brother, Weng Khiang taught me the best defence ever, to scream when attackers approach, and it really works!!! They stay far away from you. Well, I think it only works for me, because if my brothers don’t stay far away when I scream, Mommie Wee Wen will scold them and smack-smack them for bullying me!

My brothers and I make up a comical team. Foo Yee is the money minded one among us, always pouncing on our money any time he can. He secretly keeps a record of how much money we have in our ‘shared’ piggy bank. Chee Wai is the quietest of my brothers but not any less loving. Eddie is always on the run, hardworking and dedicated to his work. The ‘Happy Dwarf’, I call him, Siew Loong ,always laughing and smiling. I relate to Tong Chien as Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes comics, as he is small, naughty and cheeky. ‘Fat Cat’ is what I call Tiong Kiong as he reminds me of Garfield. Phillip, the loving son, is sweet and helpful. The debater of my family, James speaks 100 words per minute, always has something to say about everything. Tun Liang, the ridiculous one, is the only one nimble enough to hide in between the hollow space of the notice board. Weng Khiang, the best footballer around, is loving and naughty. Some people say he makes a pretty girl. Of course, he must have got his looks from me!! Hehe!

Together, we have had lots of fun and chuckles. My family, big as it is, is the best one I’ve ever had. We live up to its name , given the title Best Family during Family Week.

I’m tired. My daddie is asking me to sleep and not waste any more time typing nonsense on the computer. He doesn’t understand what I am writing. But I do, and I shared it with you. *wink*
