Every time I see your smiling face
I wish it would come off and set a pace
To chase the world around
That hope could not be found

Each day would feel a tender, warm embrace
Have shoes upon their feet
And have enough to eat

If only man and women were free

The way it as meant to be

There's a hope that dwells within my mind
That each and every one of us will find
A place without despair
If only we would dare
