B. pinnatum. (Lamarck) Kurz This bryophyllum has pinnata leaves on mature specimens, but produces simple leaves on young specimens. This bryophyllum is found all over the tropics and subtropics, but very likely it has its origins in the old world (tropical East Africa). The plantlets are produced from leaf crenatures.
