K. marnieriana Jacobsen.

This species is very similar to B. fedtschenkoi. The epithet commemorates the owner Marnier Lapostelle of Jardin les Cedres where many exotic malgasy succulents are housed. The leaves are almost round tipped, with just traces of crenatures where plantlets may arise. The leaf margins become reddish on exposure to strong sunlight. It comes from the Ihosy region (a plateau) in south western Madagascar. This kalanchoe should have been a bryophyllum, because of its similarity to B. fedtschenkoi.
