I teach in the Masters Program of Phoenix University, Vancouver BC campus. Here is a list of links to lesson plans and tutorials put together by and for my students in my EDD 540C Integrating Technology into Education course delivered in the Spring 2001 for the University of Phoenix, Vancouver Campus.
These teachers also created their own lesson plans on how to integrate information technology into their classrooms. Take a look and if these lesson plans are useful to you, feel free to use them, just let me know if you have used or plan to use them so I can pass the information along to the teachers .

I am within three years of my retirement, and as I look back over my work history, I take pride in the number of divesified careers I have enjoyed. I enjoyed the humor of the following as it sums up some of my thoughts towards work and where it can take us.
My first job was working in an orange juice factory, but I got canned ... couldn't concentrate.
Then I worked in the woods as a lumberjack, but I just couldn't hack it, so they gave me the ax.
After that I tried to be a tailor, but I just wasn't suited for it.
Then I decided to become a Travel Agent, but I found the work too foreign.
Next I tried working in a muffler factory but that was exhausting.
I tried working as a retail store manager but I was always losing the inventory.
Next was a job in a shoe factory; I tried but I just didn't fit in.
I became a professional fisherman, but discovered that I couldn't live on my net income.
I tried becoming a consultant but no-one would listen to me.
I managed to get a good job working for a pool maintenance company, but the work was just too draining.
I tried politics once, but since I could only be truthful, my downfall was inevitable, and I didn't last long.
So then I got a job in a gymnasium, but they said I wasn't fit for the job.
I got a job as a historian until I realized there was no future in it.
Just for the html of IT, I tried web design but I kept forgetting my (java) script .
I finally landed a job as a teacher but they said I had no class.
So I am now considering retiring, because I think I would be perfect for that job!
The above IT curricula are among the best in the world. They show how the tools of information technology can be integrated into any subject. I am very proud of these as I was the lead of the team that developed them.
Applied Academic Web SiteThis is another project I worked on. I would recommend that you go visit this site to learn more about Applied Academics. This site also links to other sites that focus on this exciting new innovation for students.
These links are designed to help educators, parents, students and others, at all levels (beginning, or advanced), find "convenient, age-appropriate, activity-based ideas and web sites that can be used in the classroom immediately."
Many teacher leaders have developed hundreds, if not thousands, of sites for other educators, which are accessible via the Internet, but many teacher do not have the time to seek these sites out. We have started this task here. If you would like some more background information go
here.

While a starting list of popular sites can be given, the electronic medium of the Internet is a constantly changing one. New places will appear frequently and those that aren't maintained can disappear quickly. As a result this page is always under construction, let us know if a link does not work or if you have a site that you think should be added. So check back often and let us know what you think. Your ideas and suggestions are important to us. Let us know if you have a favorite site that you would like to see on this link page.
