Cheetah's Fuzzy Kid's

You can click on the Cat's pictures to see a larger image, and to see more of their OWN Garden.

Tasheba, aka (Tash)

Tash it appears, is posing regally in this picture, that was also taken in the cat's privacy garden, and she probably is. She knows she's the Queen!

She was at first rescued by my sister, when she found out her previous people where going to have her put to sleep. Then I was called, because her cats would not accept Tash. So I said, "I'll take her and find her a home." Guess what? I found her a home with me.

She is about 13 years old, of which I've had her living with me about 12. She is your typical; crazy, funny, loving siamese.

Samantha
And now for Samantha, aka (Sam, Super Sam, Slammin Sammi). Don't let this calm looking picture fool you. She is our wild child. This picture was taken on the deck leading out into the cat's privacy garden.

Sam is Tash's daughter. She is 10 years old, going on 6 months. She was born with neurological problems.

When she had problems nursing a few days after she was born we took her to the Vet. He recomended having her put down, as he didn't think she would make it, and if she did, he didn't think she would be able to care for herself.

Well, we talked it over and decided to give her a chance. We started hand feeding her with a dropper as she couldn't nurse right. The Mr. took over this job right away because for some reason she fed better when he handled her. It was so strange, watching him fed her, she looked so tiny in his big hands.

Oh yes, we are so very glad we gave her that chance. She developed very slowly, but she did develop. Sam is a perpetual kitten, and needless to say very special to us. Yes, she is cross-eyed, it is not just the picture. ;-)

We have had two new additions to the family in the last year. There was a female ferral cat hanging around that we fed. Well, she blessed us with a litter of kittens as ferral cats are very prone to do. She disappeared one day but left two kittens here. So.... Of couse we took them in. (I sometimes wonder if cats see a sign that says (EASY) around our house.)
We now have Bit, a fat and gentle soul. She is a soft grey, orange and white calico. Also Toby, big and the most gentle cat I've ever known. He is black and white.
Tash and Sam didn't really appreciate the new additions, but everyone is co-existing.

Cirse
This is a picture of Cirse aka OCC (One Cirse Cat) in the cat's privacy garden.
My Son found her one day as he was running his paper route, and brought her home in his paper bag. When I first saw her she was a little scrawny stray of about 2 months old, who had a appetite for anything that didn't eat her first.
Circe passed away last year. She had developed cancer and was gone from us in less then 3 months, we still miss her very much, she was about 12 yrs old.. Cirse was a extremely laid back, mellow, gentle girl. This girl always had a love of chewing and licking fingers. She did have a few other bad habits too.
One habit was that she was notorious for bugging the Mr. in the wee hours (like at 4:30 a.m.) to be fed. She did this by knocking his glasses and watch off the table and/or getting in his face and howling. Cirse once did a dive from the chest of drawers onto his stomach to wake him, did you notice I said once? Who said you can't teach old cats new tricks? ;-) It was a good thing he loved her as much as I did.

All the fuzzy kids are either nuetered or spayed, healthy and very spoiled. They are very much a part of our family.

This summs it up for us very well....
"I love my cats because I love my home, and little by little they've become it's visible soul"

The Rainbow Bridge

When the time comes to say Goodbye try to remember... The Rainbow Bridge
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.
There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.
