I put thumbnails on the same page as backgrounds, because backgrounds are often displayed as thumbnails on a graphics web site. What is a thumbnail? A thumbnail is a smaller version of the actual graphic. People often display graphics this way on their web pages to conserve space and reduce the load time of the page. The thumbnail is usually linked to the actual-size graphic; just click on the thumbnail and the full-size graphic will be displayed. So, when you are thinking of downloading a particular graphic, move your mouse over it and see if it indicates a link. If it does, click on the graphic and open the link. If a larger version of the graphic displays, this is what you want to save (unless you liked the thumbnail size better, of course).
